I absolutely love Bonfire night! There is a chill in the air and a definite call for things that warm you up. Although the real date for Bonfire night or Guy Fawkes is the 5th, we are seeing the sky light up at night already as the celebrations spread out over the weeks before and after the 5th. Thankfully the dog is unaffected!

Since I tend think with my stomach, lets start with food… If you are going out for the evening, here are some delicious things to consider including in your tiffin boxes and flasks for your picnic hamper

To get the kids fired up before the big event, why not get them involved in some fun craft activities such as these by Activity Village

Remember, Remember, the 5th of November is a nursery rhyme dating back to 1606, written to remind new generations of the consequences of treason. This together with making a “Guy” and building a bonfire became an annual tradition. Here is an explanation by Rhymes.org.uk

iChild also has some brilliant activities for kids including Poetry and Colouring pages, so do have a look

Whatever you decide to do, I hope that you have a fun night filled with family and friends and enjoy the evening. Keep safe

Lots of love x
