With Easter and school holidays just around the corner for us I have been busy making plans of what to do with Phillipa and of course, what to eat 🙂 There are some very creative people out there who have provided much-needed inspiration and so I have posted a few of them here to share with you.

Starting with heavenly food..

First up are these Birds Nest Cookies by Art of Dessert via Tip Junkie…

Here are some adorable Baa Baa Black Sheep and White Sheep Treats by Southern Living via Tip Junkie. Great for decoration or a sweet snack treat…

These Easter Cake Pops by  Farm 4 are almost too cute to eat… almost!

Devilled eggs for an Easter treat with a difference… because it can’t all be about chocolate or sweets 🙂 This comes from Patricia Smith on Pinterest

Now for some Arts and Crafts…

Pretty No-Dye Easter Eggs by Better Homes and Gardens are fun and easy for the kids to make and if you still want to use the eggs for breakfast or baking then you can 🙂 …

I love having a tree to hang things on for the holiday celebrations, and by tree, I mean, branch, shrub, mobile and so on, so these Embroidery Floss Easter Eggs by Everyday Celebrating are great for just that…

Here is a cute Easter Tradition by See Jane Blog that I think I will start this year… Plant some magic Jelly Beans the night before Easter and wake in the morning to see what has grown 🙂 – Lollipops! This can be the start of your Easter Egg Hunt…

Planting Magic Jelly Beans

Eggheads with cress hair are really fun to make and the cress grows quickly so there is something for the kids to watch on a daily basis. Here is a tutorial by Nuturestore… We used the shells to make caterpillars last year and painted each egg shell a different colour of the rainbow, decorating the final egg upside down as the head. It turned out to be so cute, and the kids used the cress for egg and cress sarmies (sandwiches) when it had grown enough 🙂

Happy Easter everyone.

Lots of love x
